Saturday, June 6, 2009, 8:00 AM - 12:00 AM

Media Briefing - 11:00 am

Goshen Farmers Market (South Side of County Court House)

155 North Main Street Edwardsville, IL  62025

Come to the Goshen Market in downtown Edwardsville on Saturday June 6th anytime after 8:00 AM until noon.

The Obama Administration wants to accomplish Health Care reform this year.  This Saturday June 6th we can raise our voices for real Health Care reform in Edwardsville at the Goshen Farmers Market.

We will have a Health Care information booth at the Farmers Market discussing Health Care Reform with the general public from 8:00 AM to noon. We will meet with the general public to answer questions and demonstrate to others just how important healthcare reform is to all Americans.  Everybody in, nobody out:  guaranteed, quality, affordable, and accessible health care for all. If we don't accomplish sustainable healthcare reform now, the window can close on us.

At 11:00 AM we will hold a media event with the local media to discuss the Health Care crisis and possible solutions.

Sponsors of this event include:  Health Care for All Illinois, Illinois Single Payer Coalition, Campaign for Better Health Care, AARP, United Steel Workers (USW), Steelworkers Organization for Active Retirees (SOAR), Electricians Local 68, and United Congregations of Metro-East (UCM).

For more information, please contact Dr. Pam Gronemeyer at 618-973-3584 or UCM at 618-451-1458.
